It was a pleasure to have Machine Woman create a fresh rework of rill² from cues, out now on Toucan Sounds.

Chalking up releases on Where To Now?, Ninja Tune’s sister label Technicolour, and her own Take Away Jazz Records, the Russian native delivers a typically dense and hypnotic take on muro’s original work.
Across the ‘Lower Manhattan Mix’, Machine Woman adds a pulsing 4/4 underneath snippets of her trademark spoken word, re-imagining elements from muro’s densely ambient track into a deep and trippy affair. The ‘Upper Manhattan Mix’ strips the vocals away, focussing instead on her intricate production for a bonus addition to the package."
